We’ll be optimistic that the weather will be perfect for this year’s JSM Family/Friend Golf Tournament. Here’s a little run down of the day…

• Registration/Check in begins at 7 AM.
• Drop off your clubs at the Chevy Chase caddy shack
• Join us on the patio and check in at registration
• You’ll receive your gifts, cap, program book.
• Enjoy a continental breakfast in the dining area sponsored by Continental Restaurant
• *NEW* Compete in a putting “contest” on the green.
• Learn at the putting clinic.

Then it’s off to the Tournament!

Mulligans are available at each Hole–$5 each (not needed, huh?)
On Hole 9, NutraSweet is sponsoring a $15,000 Hole-in-One. You could be lucky!!

The Ron Bokor BBQ Dinner will revitalize you and wait til you see what’s offered at our *NEW* Silent and Live Auctions! The Silent Auction begins in the morning.

Volunteers are encouraged to register along with golfers this year. Registration for volunteers is FREE. Volunteering is a fun and easy way to participate – especially for those of you who are not golfers. Bring a friend along too! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, smiles and plenty of sunshine are a guarantee! Our ever so popular scratch-off tickets are now on sale. Tickets sell for $5.00. Better yet, buy 6 tickets for $25.00 (or even better, 12 tickets for $50) and increase your chances of winning! Prizes include gift certificates to Starbucks, Target and Best Buy. All scratch-off tickets will be entered into the $1000 drawing held at the luncheon following the golf tournament. Along with the new registration site, there are several exciting new opportunities this year. Golfers and volunteers are eligible for free golf! Yes, free golf! All you have to do is take part in our simple fundraising program, raise $180.00 and you can have a friend join you to golf for free! Volunteers can invite someone to golf for free too.

The JSM Family Golf team has worked to implement a new registration site for all golfers and volunteers. We just got our 4th Annual logo from our design firm dk worldwide. They have built us a new logo each year of the tournament, always adding a little polish and shine to it. This year they also created a new pink turtle, of our distinctive turtle icon. We have already started using her as a way to end each post on the site.

As we enter our 4th year we got quite a surprise at our pre-kickoff meeting. Our design firm, dk worldwide had a brand new website as a gift for us. They have included all sorts of bells and whistles including giving us the ability to manage the content, post new content whenever we want, and they are updating our mailing software, too!

Wow! We are excited to launch a new web site. We will be posting more information about how everyone can be involved in various levels with our event soon.
